[01.02.25] - Update So, where did the title for this site come from? I'll give you a little science lesson: As the moon goes around the earth, it completes one revolution at the same time as it finishes a single rotation. Thus, it always points the same face towards the earth and the other is never seen by us. This side that we never see is the back of the moon. The Apollo 8 crew was the first to catch a glimpse of the mysterious back side of the moon as their ship circled the moon before returning to Earth. |
